Madurai, June 05: Three more persons were taken into custody today for interrogation in connection with the May 20 murder of former DMK minister T Kiruttinan here. The initial investigation of Mannan, one of the accused already in judicial custody, revealed that the murder gang had links with Essar, Easwaran, Mani, Sreenivasan, Raja, Oothalpandi and Senthil Kumar.

Police had taken into custody Seenivasan, Mani and Senthil Kumar for interrogation, police sources said.

The three members had stayed in a lodge in the city one day before the murder to discuss the plans, police said.
