Jammu, June 17: Indian and Pakistani troops today exchanged mortar and small arms fire in Noushera, Hira Nagar and R S Pura areas along Line of Control and International Border in Jammu-Poonch sector without any casualty, according to official sources.

Pak troops shelled Laam, Bhawani, Noushera and Jangard areas of Rajouri district along LoC today, the sources said adding Indian troops retaliated in these areas.
Pakistani rangers resorted to small arms fire to stall border fencing along international border in Budwal, Arnia, Kavol, Matrain, Pindi, Phadpur, Londi and Chak Faqwari area of R.S.Pura and Hiranagar in Jammu-Kathua belt since this afternoon, the sources said. BSF troops retaliated and exchanges were on intermittently till the reports last came in, the sources said.
However, there was no loss of life or damage to the property in these exchanges on Indian side, the sources said. Bureau Report
