This despite a formidable price-tag of Rs 59 lakh ex-showroom. Delhi's corporate bigwigs are queuing up to own the Merc S Class, 'S3201', fondly reffered to by car freaks as 'the Mercedes-Benz of Mercedes-Benzes'. The Nandas (Escorts), the Punjs (Punj Lloyd), the Burmans (Dabur) and the Goenkas have all reportedly placed orders for this luxury-on-wheels, soft-launched just this month. And that's not all. Scuttlebutt has it that the list of prospective car-owners from Delhi also includes half a dozen of well-known politicians.
