Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee is in high spirits and looking forward to go home tomorrow sources at the Breach Candy Hospital, where he is recuperating after his left knee joint replacement surgery, said on Saturday. Vajpayee cannot be called a patient anymore as he is able to take rounds in the corridor of the hospital with the help of a walker besides going through official files, the sources said. The Prime Minister has progressed well after his operation on October 10 and can flex his knee although he has to take life easy for more time the chief public relation officer of the Hospital Cyrus engineer told PTI in Mumbai.
“The wound is healing satisfactorily,” Engineer said.
Dr F E Udwadia and Dr Nandu Laud, the attending surgeons for the Prime Minister had on Friday said that Vajpayee would be discharged on Sunday.
