Indian police on Thursday said that they had arrested an alleged senior Kashmiri militant commander in New Delhi. A police spokesman said the arrested nam, identified as Mohammad Latif, belonged to the powerful Hizbul Mujahideen militant group and was their area commander in Pulwama district, 40 kilometers (25 miles) south of the Kashmir summer capital Srinagar.
The spokesman said,

The police also alleged that Latif had been trained by the Pakistani ISI intelligence agency.
