Sirsa: A woman from Haryana`s Sirsa on Saturday alleged that she was raped by three men on her husband`s directions.

The incident came to light when the police were informed about a rape victim admitted to a government hospital.


"We got to know on July 29 that a rape victim is admitted to a government hospital. Our officers went there and a case has been registered. The case has been registered against six people, which includes the victim`s husband, mother-in-law and sister-in-law," Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ratandeep Singh Bali told ANI.


He added that the police are investigating the case and a necessary action will be taken against the culprits.


The victim said that the culprits threw her naked on the road after raping her.


"When I refused to divorce my husband, he called his three friends whom I don`t know. I ran away but they kidnapped me, dragged me to a nearby field and gang-raped me at gunpoint," she said.


A team of police is searching the three unknown accused.Further investigation is underway.
