Welcoming the protesting farmers, who were allowed to enter Delhi through the Tikri border to hold demonstrations on Nirankari Samagam Ground in the Burari area against the new farm laws, the Aam Adami Party says it will make all the necessary arrangements for them.

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar appealed to the protesting farmers to talk to the Centre and amicably solve the problems. The Delhi Noida Direct (DND) Flyway has been barricaded and a cache of police team has been deployed in view of the farmers protest.

The Haryana Police put up multi-layered barricades and boulders on roads from Punjab, officials said. Police are keeping vigil over farmers with drones. A Punjab Police official on duty at Sangrur's Khanauri told reporters that the Haryana Police used cranes to put boulders on roads and the movement of traffic to the other side has been stopped.
