Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Tamil Nadu and Kerala today, ahead of the forthcoming assembly polls in the southern states. This was PM Modi`s first public rally in the state after the announcement of the dates for eight-phased Assembly polls for 294 constituencies in West Bengal.

In another update, kicking off Bharatiya Janata Party's campaign in poll bound states of Tamil Nadu and Kerala, Union Home Minister Amit Shah is on a one-day visit to the two states on Sunday. During his visit, Shah will launched "Vetri Kodi Eandhi" or Vijay Sankalp Mahasamaprk Abhiyaan - a door to door campaign in Suchindram Town. He also held a road show in Kanyakumari.
