    Although the monsoon season in Mumbai has not yet officially begun, considerable rainfall between Tuesday and Wednesday was reported in various parts of the city and its surroundings. While noting that these spells are pre-monsoon rains, Indian Meteorological Department authorities have ascribed the rainfall to the effects of the powerful cyclone Biparjoy in the Arabian Sea.

  • Man Held For Sexually Assaulting A Young Woman In A Running Train In Mumbai  

    On Wednesday in Mumbai, a guy sexually abused a 20-year-old woman in the ladies' section of a running local train. The 40-year-old suspect was detained soon after the crime was reported, according to a GRP official.

    The woman, a Girgaon resident, was reportedly travelling by herself to Belapur in Navi Mumbai to take an exam. On Wednesday morning, she arrived at CSMT and took a local Harbour Line train. The officer said that as soon as the train moved, a male entered the vacant ladies' compartment.
