Kerala: In yet another incident of political violence, BJP's Kannur Mandal vice president Sushil was attacked on Wednesday night in Olachery Kavu.

He is admitted to a hospital and his condition is said to be stable.


Kannur district in Kerala has always witnessed political murders where the BJP and the CPI-M have lost several of their cadres.


Meanwhile, the BJP blamed the CPI (M) behind the attack.


However, the CPM denied the allegation saying that it was a result of feud inside the BJP


The Left Democratic Front (LDF) led by the CPI-M returned to power in the southern state after the May 2016 assembly elections.


Vijayan has accused the RSS of deliberately trying to create unrest in Kannur district, which has been marred by political violence in the recent months.
