  • Over 8 || Score 36/5 (Javed 2; Usman 0); Target 134

    What a brilliant bowling display from Mustafizur Rahman. Two wickets of successive deliveries as pace bowlers continue to torment UAE batsmen.

    WICKET: Shaiman Anwar c Mahmudullah b Mashrafe Mortaza 1 (4b)

    That happened in the second ball of the seventh over. Newly arrived Muhammad Usman just about managed to survived the remaining deliveries. Not that he's a tail-ender, but the way  he flashed on wide deliveries, it looked like he's in a hurry.

    Brilliant over from the skipper. Two runs, and a wicket.

    In the previous over, Al-Amin Hossain conceded seven runs, including a six by Mohammad Shahzad.

  • Over 5 || Score 25/2 (Shahzad 6; Anwar 0); Target 134

    Bad shot selection doomed Rohan Mustafa's innings. After surviving that brilliant return catch attempt by Mustafizur Rahman, he could have played with some sense. But that wasn't to be the case.

    A wild swing off the last delivery of Mashrafe Mortaza's first over, and Mustafa's out.

    WICKET: Rohan Mustafa c Mustafizur Rahman b Mashrafe Mortaza 18 (17b)

    Five runs from the over. Shaiman Anwar is the new man.

  • Over 4 || Score 20/1 (Mustafa 14; Shahzad 5); Target 134

    A superb return catch from Mustafizur Rahman. Or, no. After many a replays, the third umpire given Rohan Mustafa not out. Nonetheless, it was a brilliant attempt from the bowler, who seemed to have scrubbed the ball.

    The very next delivery, Mustafa played a sumptuous cover drive for his first four of the innings.

    Earlier in the over, Mohammad Shahzad had played a good looking cut-shot for a four. Nine runs from the over.

  • Over 3 || Score 11/1(Mustafa 10; Shahzad 0); Target 134

    WICKET: Muhammad Kaleem c Mashrafe Mortaza b Al-Amin Hossain 0 (5b)

    One run, one wicket from the over. Mohammad Shahzad is the new man.

  • Over 1 || Score 1/0 (Mustafa 1; Kaleem 0); Target 134

    Impressive Taskin Ahmed started Bangladesh's defence with a length outside off delivery, which was let go by Rohan Mustafa. Then, two balls later Taskin produced a virtually unplayable delivery which edged to second slip, but Soumya Sarkar there made a mess of it. Thus, Mustafa opened his account.

    One run from the over, as Muhammad Kaleem played the two remaining deliveries for a naught.

  • Over 20 || Score 133/8 (Mahmudullah 36)

    17 runs from the last over, and a run out. A flurry of big shots from dangerous Mahmudullah helped Bangladesh scored a fighting total against an inspired UAE team.

    The final over started with Mahmudullah hitting Rohan Mustafa for a four, then a couple of doubles followed. Then came the six, off the fourth delivery, which was followed by a couple more.

    Of the last delivery, Taskin Ahmed ran himself out chasing a non-existent double.

    Shakib Al Hasan found his first boundary with a lucky inside edge, which beat wicketkeeper Swapnil Patil. It happened in the third delivery of Mohammad Shahzad's fourth over.

    10 runs from the over. Shahzad's figure: 4-0-38-1

  • Over 16 || Score 101/4 (Shakib 8; Mahmudullah 11)

    A good over for UAE. Seven runs -- three singles and two twos -- from it. Ahmed Raza, thus ended his spell of four overs. Despite taking a wicket, his has been the best spell. Only 17 runs from the 24 deliveries.

    In between, Bangladesh also crossed the 100-run mark.

  • Over 15 || Score 94/4 (Shakib 3; Mahmudullah 9)

    Mahmudullah is a clean hitter. And he started the Amjad Javed's third over with a six, over the mid-wicket boundary. But the UAE skipper responded brilliantly, conceding only three singles off the next five balls. Nine runs from the over.

  • Over 14 || Score 85/4 (Shakib 2; Mahmudullah 1)

    Another brilliant over from UAE. Rohan Mustafa conceded only two runs, after that maiden-wicket from Mohammad Naveed.

  • Over 13 || Score 83/4 (Shakib 1; Mahmudullah 0)

    Hosts Bangladesh in a disarray. Lost another wicket, in a crucial period. Wicket maiden. Diminutive looking Mushfiqur Rahim is gone, thanks to a beautiful delivery from Mohammad Naveed. Caught behind.

    WICKET: Mushfiqur Rahim c Swapnil Patil b Mohammad Naveed 4 (8b)

    In the last five overs UAE have wrested the initiative back by taking  three wickets in exchange of 18 runs.

    Experienced Mahmudullah is the new man.

  • Over 12 || Score 83/3 (Rahim 4; Shakib 1)

    Run out or Stumping! Set batsman Mohammad Mithun found himself out of the crease after blocking the fourth delivery from Rohan Mustafa. And his wickets were uprooted by an alert Swapnil Patil.

    WICKET: Mohammad Mithun st Swapnil Patil b Rohan Mustafa 47 (41b)

    Shakib Al Hasan is the new man. Bangladesh are in a spot of bother after a good start. Two new batsmen in the centre. Another rebuilding period!

  • Over 10 || Score 74/2 (Mithun 42; Rahim 1)

    Good bowling change to break the burgeoning partnership. Off break bowler Rohan Mustafa removed Sabbir Rahman off the third delivery of his first over.

    A good catch at mid-wicket fench by Fahad Tariq.

    WICKET: Sabbir Rahman c Fahad Tariq b Rohan Mustafa 6 (12b)

    Mushfiqur Rahim, who is playing purely as a batsman today, arrived in the centre. Four runs from the over.

  • Over 9 || Score 70/1 (Mithun 40; Hasan 5)

    Somehow Ahmed Raza put a brake on the Bangladesh run with his slow left arm deliveries. Only five from the over -- four singles and a leg bye. Mighty effort.

    That way, it can be said that these two Bangladesh batsmen are batting pretty well.

  • Over 8 || Score 65/1 (Mithun 38; Hasan 3)

    Mohammad Shahzad  getting some stick here. After a decent start to the over, he was clubbed, in fact picked rather well, in a calculatative manner by Mohammad Mithun, for a six over deep.

    It was followed by a perfectly timed glance for a four. 12 runs from it.

  • Over 7 || Score 53/1 (Mithun 27; Hasan 2)

    Thus arrived first spinner. Busy over for slow left armer Ahmed Raza. The over started with a double off the bat of Mithun, then a leg bye, before Nurul Hasan played deft touch to a single. Another single followed.

    The over ended with two dot balls. Five runs from the over.

  • Over 6 || Score 48/1 (Mithun 24; Hasan 1)

    Another bowling change. Mohammad Shahzad on. But like his other bowling partners, the right-arm was welcomed with a massive six by Soumya Sarkar, over square leg. But the bowler had the last laugh, though.

    The very delivery, Sarkar played a lofted straight drive, only to find Amjad Javed at mid-on.

    WICKET: Soumya Sarkar c Amjad Javed b Mohammad Shahzad 21 (14b)

    Nurul Hasan is the new batsman. Nine runs from the over.

  • Over 5 || Score 39/0 (Mithun 23; Sarkar 15)

    An eventful over. Drop catches, free hit. Mohammad Mithun dropped off the first delivery of fifth over, then Soumya Sarkar surviving another, two balls later. Both were hard chances but, as they say, catches win matches.

    Then, a no ball in the fourth delivery resulted in a free-hit, which resulted in the first six of the match. It was followed by a four. In those two deliveries Mithun added 10 runs.

    17 runs from the over.

  • Over 4 || Score 22/0 (Mithun 10; Sarkar 12)

    Mohammad Naveed, who was removed from the attack, returned from the other end. An animated discussion happed between the bowlers and skipper Javed in between the overs.

    Nonetheless, Naveed continued and he has so far managed to test the Bangladeshi batsmen with his pace and also the line and length.

    However, the fourth delivery was dispatched for a four, straight off the bat of Sarkar. A pitch-up delivery. Naveed responded with better ball. Dot ball to end the over.

  • Over 3 || Score 16/0 (Mithun 9; Sarkar 7)

    Bowling change for UAE. Amjad Javed introduced Mohammad Shahzad in the third over. But the right-arm medium pacer started by conceding a four of the very first delivery, with Soumya Sarkar getting his first of the match. A glance.

    Seven from the over.

  • Over 2 || Score 9/0 (Mithun 8; Sarkar 1)

    Skipper Amjad Javed, who bowled brilliantly yesterday against Sri Lanka, started poorly, missing the line. And it led to the first boundary of the match. Mithun just got enough bat to flick.

    With a double off the third delivery, the over went for six runs.

    Somehow, in these early deliveries, Javed has failed to operate wicket to wicket.

  • Over 1 || Score 3/0 (Mithun 2; Sarkar 1)

    Mohammad Naveed started the proceedings with Mohammad Mithun on strike. Some hint of swing, and the very first ball got a thick edge, which however failed to carry to the second slip. Mithun off the mark with the third delivery -- a single.

    Soumya Sarkar was lucky to have a single off an edge. Then, a LBW shout in the next delivery. The over ended with a single, off the blade of Mithun.

  • Bangladesh XI: Nurul Hasan, Soumya Sarkar, Sabbir Rahman, Mohammad Mithun, Mahmudullah, Shakib Al Hasan, Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Mashrafe Mortaza (capt.), Taskin Ahmed, Al-Amin Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman

    United Arab Emirates XI: Rohan Mustafa, Muhammad Kaleem, Mohammad Shahzad, Muhammad Usman, Shaiman Anwar, Swapnil Patil (wk), Saqlain Haider, Amjad Javed (capt.), Mohammad Naveed, Ahmed Raza, Fahad Tariq

  • Teams: Both the sides have made one change each from their respective last matches. For Bangladesh, Nurul Hasan comes in for Imrul Kayes. Injured Qadeer Ahmed is replaced by Fahad Tariq in the UAE side.

  • TOSS: Amjad Javed called tail, and it's UAE which won the toss. Like yesterday, they will bowl first.
