Bihar Election: Results of key candidates
As the Grand Alliance went well past the halfway mark required to make the next government in Bihar, new posters have cropped up in the state.
RJD chief Lalu Prasad's eldest son Tej Pratap Yadav, who is testing the electoral waters for the first time, is ahead in Mahua constituency by more than 1,300 votes.
BJP's Nand Kishore Yadav is now leading by over 5,700 votes from Patna Sahib constituency.
In what could be a huge embarrassment to the BJP, the party's partner, Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM) president Jitan Ram Manjhi is trailing behind RJD's Subedar Das by 8,555 votes in Makhadumapur constituency. However, in Imamganj, its JD(U)'s turn to share its quota of embarrassment as its candidate Uday Narain Chaudhary is seen trailing Manjhi by 15,000 votes.
Raghopur seat: Lalu Yadav's son Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, who was trailing in early leads, is now ahead of Satish Kumar of the BJP with 3,800 votes.

At 12:15 am, the Election Commission of India says that the Grand Alliance was way ahead with leads in 158 constituencies, out of 243 seats in the Bihar Assembly. The Grand Alliance is decisively ahead of BJP-led NDA as votes cast in the Bihar Assembly Election were counted today, showed trends in 125 constituencies put out by the Election Commission of India at 10.30 am. The EC said that the Grand Alliance was way ahead with leads in 77 constituencies, out of 243 seats in the Bihar Assembly. The BJP-led alliance was leading in 43 seats. While Communist Party of India (ML) (Liberation) was leading in one seat, Independents were ahead in four places.
In a reversal of early trends, the JD(U)-led Grand Alliance is surging ahead of the BJP-led NDA in 130 seats, well above the half-way mark needed for forming the government in Bihar. The rival alliance has been projected to get 94 seats and the 'Others' 10.

Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah on Saturday refused to comment on the exit polls for Bihar Assembly Elections but said he wants the Grand Alliance to win a thumping majority in the elections.
