Through a series of tweets, the PM's Office today confirmed that Modi will be in Varanasi today and would also visit Lucknow.
Besides flagging-off the Mahamana Superfast Express, PM will also address 6th convocation ceremony of Dr Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University in Lucknow.
Those injured were supposed to meet PM Modi today.
At least 22 people have been injured in the incident.

Upon his arrival in Varanasi, PM Modi will flag off Mahamana Superfast Express, which has been named after Mahamana Madan Mohan Malviya - the founder of the Banaras Hindu University.
This is Prime Minister Modi's fifth visit to his constituency after assuming office in May, 2014.
