Jabalpur registered 69.45 per cent voter turnout in 2019, a gain of 10.92 per cent. The total number of electors in the constituency is 1818114 while the total voter turnout is 1262608. While in 2014, the constituency registered 58.53 per cent voter turnout. The total number of electors in the constituency was 1710788 while the total voter's turnout was 1001310.


Rakesh Singh of Bharatiya Janata Party, AD Ramraj Ram of Bahujan Samaj Party and Pt.Vivek Krishna Tankha of Indian National Congress are a few prominent candidates contesting for general election 2019 from Jabalpur Lok Sabha constituency of Madhya Pradesh.



Voting for Madhya Pradesh's 29 parliamentary constituencies took place in four phases between April 29 to May 19. Jabalpur will go to polls on April 29, the fourth of the seven-phase polls. The counting of votes will be held on May 23.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha election, BJP candidate Rakesh Singh had won from the seat, defeating Congress's Vivek Krishna Tankha with a margin of 208,639 votes.
