Mumbai North Central Lok Sabha Constituency, is one of 48 Lok Sabha constituencies in the western state of Maharashtra and will cast its vote in the 2019 election on April 29.

Mumbai North Central registered 53.67 per cent voter turnout in 2019, a gain of 5.09 per cent. The total number of electors in the constituency is 1679731 while the total voter turnout is 901477. While in 2014, the constituency registered 48.58 per cent voter turnout. The total number of electors in the constituency was 1738666 while the total voter's turnout was 844620.


Imran Mustafa Khan of Bahujan Samaj Party, Dutt Priya Sunil of Indian National Congress and Poonam Mahajan of Bharatiya Janata Party are few prominent candidates contesting general election 2019 from Mumbai North Central Lok Sabha Constituency of Maharashtra.

Mumbai North Central constituency covers six assembly segments – Vile Parle, Chandivali, Kurla which is reserved for members of the Scheduled Castes, Kalina, Vandre East and Vandre West.


In the 2014 Lok Sabha election, Poonam Mahajan of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)– won with a huge margin of over 1.86 lakh votes. She had defeated Priya Sunil Dutt of Indian National Congress (INC). While Mahajan had secured 478535 votes Dutt got 291764 votes.
