Taking offence to RJD chief's remarks that Paswan has grown old and should be removed from the Union Cabinet, the LJP chief said that Lalu is fake and had failed five times during matriculation.

While attending a programme in Bhaglpur, the Union Minister said, Lalu is afraid of his son Chirag Paswan.

Hitting hard at the RJD chief, Paswan rubbished Lalu's love for Muslims. He said, if the RJD chief was so concerned about the minority community, then why wasn't Abdul Bari Siddiqui made the Bihar Deputy Chief Minister.

Taking pot shots at Nitish Kumar government in Bihar, Paswan said the 'Mahagathbandhan' of Janata Dal (United), RJD, Congress has led to 'Mahajungleraaj' in the state.

He dismissed reports that Jitan Ram Manjhi was contemplating on moving to Lalu's camp.

Lalu on Monday opined that Manjhi should replace the ageing Paswan in the Union Cabinet.
