The court modified the bail condition for Vanzara, who had been confined to Mumbai for the past one year.

Few days back in Soharabuddin encounter case, the Bombay High Court had allowed him to travel outside Mumbai.

Special judge SJ Raje, who pronounced the order, said that the condition that Vanzara cannot enter Gujarat and has to stay within the Mumbai has been removed.

In his bail modification plea, Vanzara had mentioned that his life was under threat in Mumbai which is a native place of many hardcore and internationally declared criminals.

The court, however, rejected Vanzara's application to make two more people, who are witnesses in the case, as accused. The Sohrabuddin Sheikh encounter case is an ongoing criminal case in Gujarat, after Sohrabuddin Anwarhussain Sheikh was killed on November 26, 2005, while he was in police custody.

Shah was discharged from the case by the Mumbai Sessions Court in December 2014.
