Union minister Murli Manohar Joshi on Wednesday strongly denied having any links with the dreaded Ranvir Sena, and dubbed charges pertaining to the same as false and concocted.
Appearing through his counsels before the Amir Das commission of inquiry probing Sena's alleged links with politicians, Joshi said the witnesses have made false and concocted allegations without evidence and proof.
Joshi's counsels Shambhu Prasad and Rakesh Kumar alleged that there appeared to be a conspiracy by his political enemies to defame him and the BJP.
Seeking an opportunity to test the veracity of statements made by the witnesses and also to expose the falsehood of their statements, Joshi's lawyers sought an order from the court to recall two witnesses for their cross examination.

In an almost identical submission, leader of opposition in Bihar assembly Sushil Kumar Modi branded the accusations as false, concocted and politically motivated.
