Unidentified gunmen shot dead three people and injured six others outside the office of a local councillor in the southern Pakistani city of Karachi on Tuesday, police said. The gunmen pulled up at the office late in the evening and opened fire at a group of people standing outside. Among those killed was one local councillor and a police guard, a police spokesman said. "The motive is still unclear, but it seems there was probably some political rivalry involved," the spokesman said. Bureau Report
