The Foreign Minister of the interim Afghan administration, Abdullah Abdullah, will visit New Delhi on Wednesday. This will be his first official foreign destination since being appointed to the Foreign Ministry. Abdullah is scheduled to meet his Indian counterpart, Jaswant Singh, Home Minister L.K. Advani and Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
The Afghan leader will leave India on Friday. He is likely to meet the Prime Minister on Thursday.
