The Naga reconciliation process will be formally launched on Thursday in Naga inhabited areas by different tribal councils, churches and NGOs.
The process was being launched under the aegis of the Naga Hoho (tribal apex council) coordination committee. The main function will be held at Kohima local ground where thousands of tribal people from the region as well as neighbouring Myanmar are expected to participate.
As part of the programme, a prayer conducted by Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) general secretary rev Zhabu Terhuja was held over the local station of All India Radio. Naga Hoho said the re-conciliation process was not a one-day affair and would continue till the objective of peace and unity was achieved.
