Changes in UP Congress on cards; Ghulam Nabi Azad wants Priyanka Gandhi to play bigger role

New Delhi: Changes in the Uttar Pradesh Congress are on cards ahead of the Assembly election scheduled early next year, party General Secretary Ghulam Nabi Azad indicated on Tu

"Changes do take place," he merely said when asked by reporters whether the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee, headed by Nirmal Khatri, would undergo a change ahead of the polls.

Replying to a question, Azad favoured Priyanka Gandhi campaigning outside of Amethi and Rae Bareli parliamentary constituencies.

Priyanka has so far campaigned in the two constituencies represented by Rahul and Sonia Gandhi.
