The juvenile convict who spent nearly three years in the reform home has already been shifted to an “undisclosed location” before he is to be handed over to his parents later in the evening.

Meanwhile, the parents of the December 16 Delhi gang-rape victim have said that they will hold a protest again on Sunday at Jantar Mantar.

The parents of the victim had earlier decided to hold the protest at the India Gate, but because of the imposition of Section 144 in the area, they were not allowed.

Earlier, the Supreme Court refused the dramatic post-midnight move of the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) to stay his release by giving an urgent hearing.

A vacation bench comprising Justices A K Goel and U U Lalit in their order pronounced at 2 AM, posted the matter for hearing on Monday.

However, DCW chairperson Swati Maliwal and the lawyers of the women's panel hoped that since the matter has become sub judice, the government and Delhi Police will not release the juvenile offender.
