The Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader said Geeta's return was made possible only because of the "serious and consistent efforts" of Sushma Swaraj. He called it a "step in the right direction".

Togadia told the media that the government should be more pro-active in responding to ceasefire violations by Pakistan on the Jammu and Kashmir border and give it a befitting reply.
