He will be in Britain for two days.

Ahead of the visit, reports Thursday said that Bhagwat would meet Hollywood actor and Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio, noted broadcaster Sir David Attenborough and UK business tycoon Richard Branson during his visit to Britain.

Reports said DiCaprio and Branson are expected to announce their support for RSS' campaign against beef consumption and promote vegetarianism.

The Hollywood actor is himself a vegetarian and campaigns against animal slaughter. Branson, on the other hand, is also a vegetarian and has said he would start a ‘vegan airline’, the Hindustan Times reported.

While in the UK, the RSS supremo will also attend an event organised by the Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh on July 30-31.

The maha shivir would be the largest gathering of Hindus in the UK.

He will also be reportedly holding an interfaith meet with the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby.
