New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday faced embarrassment when he was greeted with sloganeering against him outside a bank in east Delhi.

The Aam Aadmi Party leader faced the ire of the people over his criticism against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's move to demonetise Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes.


Kejriwal, who was in Laxmi Nagar to meet traders on Saturday, has been demanding that the Modi government rollback its decision.


However, he got to sense public mood when the crowd outside a bank booed him with “Hai, Hai” slogans and chanted “Modi, Modi”.
