New Delhi: The usually reclusive wife of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh`s wife, Gursharan Kaur, opened up to reporters when she came to the Parliament on Friday.

When asked about her experience during the last10 years, Kaur said, “Accha raha...nai jagah jaate hain to seekhte hain. (It was good, when we go to a new place we get to learn)”. Kaur, 75, was in Parliament as today is the last day of the last session of the current Lok Sabha. She has maintained a low profile all through her stay at 7 Race Course Road. In a rare interview some years back, she was asked about how life has changed after moving in to 7 RCR, she had said, “Yes in some ways- I certainly missed my driving. I certainly missed my trips to Mother Dairy - I still try to go out to shop- if its shoes or saris.”
