Shoe thrown at Punjab Revenue Minister Bikram Singh Majithia inside Assembly

Chandigarh: The last day of the SAD-BJP government’s assembly session on Wednesday witnessed unruly scenes as a shoe was thrown at Punjab Revenue Minister Bikram Singh Majithia by a Congress legislator inside the state Assembly.
As per the report, Congress MLA Tarlochan Sund hurled shoe at Punjab minister Majithia during the assembly session.
The protesting Congress MLAs had challenged Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal for discussion on the problems in Punjab.
Even as chaos continued in the state assembly today, the Punjab government passed 12 bills in 10 minutes.
Early today, Speaker Charanjit Atwal suspended the Question Hour and started with the legislative business for the day.
