Wild bear escapes from zoo in Hyderabad - read how it was caught

Hyderabad: The IT city of Hyderabad was on Monday night hit by a bear scare after the wild animal escaped from a local zoo.

As per reports, the wild bear managed to escape from its enclosure at the Nehru Zoological Park in Bahadurpura last night by digging a burrow.

The animal then fled by climbing the wall fencing.

Zoo officials were informed about the bear's escape by locals who had spotted the animal.

Zoo officials could manage to catch the bear only after a few hours using tranquilizers.
