KJo is quite pally with Deepika and the fans want to see her in a film directed by the popular filmmaker. But until now nothing has really materialised. However, the maverick filmmaker happened to direct the leggy lass for an ad shoot. Director Punit Malhotra took to his social media handle and shared the picture.

Deepika has been a regular on Karan's 'Koffee With Karan' talk show and we really wonder why she hasn't been seen any of his directorial ventures as yet. Although Dippy featured in Dharma Productions super hit film 'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani' opposite Ranbir Kapoor. It was directed by Ayan Mukerji and turned out to be one of her most liked ventures.

Meanwhile, Dippy darling was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period drama 'Padmaavat' starring Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor. The film released after initial hiccups and roadblocks as nation-wide protests against the filmmaker and his project created ruckus.

However, soon after the film's release, the controversy surrounding 'Padmaavat' dissolved and it turned out to be the biggest hit of 2018 so far.

Deepika has some interesting projects in her kitty but not much is known about her next immediate film.
