Actor Varun Dhawan, who worked with Sidharth Shukla in 'Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania' arrived at his Mumbai residence on Thursday. The actor had also shared a grief-stricken post on Instagram, writing, "RIP brother. You are loved by so many and you touched so many with your kind heart and beautiful personality. Today heaven has gained a star and we have lost one. My deepest condolences to the family and loved ones."

According to reports, Sidharth Shukla's postmortem has been completed at Mumbai's Cooper Hospital and his family will get his mortal remains on Friday. As per reports, the last rites of the actor will take place tomorrow.
According to Zee News sources, it has been learnt that Sidharth Shukla's post-mortem is still underway at Cooper Hospital in Mumbai. Therefore, his last rites will most likely be performed tomorrow (September 3, 2021).
However, nothing has been confirmed by the hospital or the late actor's family as yet.
President, Paralympic Committee of India, Deepa Malik also condoled Sidharth Shukla's untimely demise. She retweeted a news portal's link and wrote: Dear @sidharth_shukla thank you for your love and applauds for our Paralympians. Your last words said in praise for para athletes has immortalized you in the hearts of us para athletes. You left too soon, we were to bring medals home in just a day or two... Rest in peace !!
A host of Bollywood celebs such as Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit Nene extended condolences to Sidharth Shukla's family.

Sidharth Shukla's post-portem procedure is underway at Mumbai's Cooper Hospital.
No injuries were sustained on the body of actor Siddharth Shukla. The cause of the death is yet to be ascertained. A team of police is present at the Shukla's residence for investigation: Mumbai Police
Several celebrities including Kapil Sharma, Bipasha Basu among others expressed shock over Sidharth Shukla's demise.
He also participated in reality shows, including "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 6", "Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7" and "Bigg Boss 13".
In 2014, Shukla made his Bollywood debut with the Karan Johar-produced "Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania" where he had a supporting role.
Shukla began his career in showbiz as a model and made his acting debut with a lead role in the television show "Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na". He later appeared on shows such as "Jaane Pehchaane Se... Ye Ajnabbi", "Love U Zindagi" but became a household name with "Balika Vadhu".
"He was brought dead to the hospital some time ago," the senior Cooper Hospital official told PTI.

Popular television and film actor Sidharth Shukla, who became a household name after he appeared on the thirteenth season of reality show 'Bigg Boss', breathed his last on Thursday (September 2). The actor, 40, is survived by his mother and two elder sisters. Shukla was dead when he was taken to the Cooper Hospital in Juhu around 10.20 am, authorities at the hospital told PTI.
The famous television and film star won a million hearts with 'Balika Vadhu'. He died on Thursday, an official at the Cooper Hospital told PTI. He suffered a massive heart attack in the morning it is learnt.
His shocking death news has left fans and fellow celebrity contestants mourning.
