Mumbai: Virat Kohli's video that shows Anushka Sharma telling a man not to throw garbage on the street has drawn mixed reactions. On the one hand, there are people who have extended support to Virat and his wife Anushka for spreading the message of cleanliness, on the other hand, there are people who have called it a publicity stunt.

For the unversed, Virat recorded a video of his wife asking a man why he dropped garbage on the street.

Tweeps, however, are divided on this issue as many believe that Anushka could have communicated the same politely.

The man (Arhhan Singh) shared the same video while hitting back at the star couple.

He posted: "Disclaimer: i have no desire to gain any mileage from this post of mine... Horrible! So I happened to carelessly Litter a sq mm of plastic while driving ! A car passing by rolls their window down and there we have our wonderful @anushkasharma ranting and yelling like a crazy roadside person! While I’m apologetic for my carelessness , Mrs Anushka Sharma Kohli a little etiquette and politeness in ur dialogue wouldn’t have made u a lesser star !! There are all kinds of manners and hygiene .. verbal etiquette is one of them !

The garbage that mistakenly went out of the window of my "luxury car"... Was way less then the garbage that came out from your mouth... From ur "luxury car's" window... Or the trashy mind @virat.kohli to shoot and post this online... For whatever gains... Now thats some serious trash!!! (sic)."

While going through his Instagram page, we came across a photograph shared by him. Turns out that Arhhan had acted in films in childhood. In the pic in question, Arhhan is sharing screen space with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The still is from SRK and Sonali Bendre starrer English Babu Desi Mem.

Check out the throwback post:

Arhhan (also known as Sunny) had played Shekhar Suman and Bhavna Balsaver's son in Dekh Bhai Dekh in 1993.

While posting the video on Instagram, Virat wrote: "Saw these people throwing garbage on the road and pulled them up rightfully. Travelling in a luxury car and brains gone for a toss. These people will keep our country clean? Yeah right!!! If you see something wrong happening like this, do the same and spread awareness. @anushkasharma (sic)."
