The Aston Martin Vantage has a rich heritage, tracing its origins back to 1950 when the name "Vantage" was first used to indicate an enhanced engine for the DB2. Over the decades, it evolved from being a variant of the DB5 in 1964 to becoming its own standalone model in the 1970s.

The new Vantage is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine sourced from Mercedes-AMG, delivering 658 bhp and 800 Nm of torque.
