Electric scooters with range up to 240KM --Check Ola, Yamaha, Suzuki's upcoming India offerings

The electric two-wheeler market in India is growing rapidly. After Revolt, Ather Energy, Bajaj Auto and TVS Motors, other companies are also looking at India as an electric vehicle hub. The government has also made the electric vehicle policy very flexible, due to which subsidies are also being given to the manufacturers. This is the reason why even companies like Yamaha are now going to bring their electric scooters to India.

Ola Electric is set to launch its electric scooter in India as the company plans to announce the prices of the scooter in July next month. The company has already started spreading its 'Hypercharger network' in Indian cities. This network will include one lakh charging points in 400 cities of India.

Swap battery will be used in Ola Electric Scooter, or there will be no hassle of charging the battery. Only charged batteries will have to be replaced which will take 5 minutes, the range of this scooter can be around 240 km in a single charge.

Suzuki Motorcycle India may launch its electric scooter Burgman Street 125 soon. The company has been testing this electric scooter for several months. It has also been seen during road testing, its photo has also been printed on many auto websites. However, not much detail could be found regarding this.

Yamaha is working on electric scooters for India and the global market as it came up with the concept of the E01 e-scooter at the 2019 Toyota Motor Show. In the same year, the company launched the EC-05, the electric scooter in Taiwan. This scooter comes with a removable battery. Its maximum range is 100 kilometers per hour. According to media reports, Yamaha is also preparing to launch its first hybrid scooter in India. Fascino 125 FI Hybrid and Ray ZR Hybrid could be launched by next year.
