Govt unveils homegrown app `Mobile Seva App Store`, targets Google and Apple

IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said in Rajya Sabha that this is going to give the much-needed ‘boost’ for the indigenous app store. This will further lessen the dependency on the tech giants like Google and Apple and it is aimed at providing impetus to India’s “Make In India” initiative.
