Meet Azani, India's first ever electric Supercar! Goes up to 700 km on single charge, sprints from 0 to 100 kmph in less than 2 seconds

MMM, better known as Mean Metal Motors Private Limited is working on India’s first and only production electric supercar. Founded in 2012 by Sarthak Paul, the company was incorporated in 2014 with the aim to manufacture India’s first and only production high performance electric vehicle (supercar). MMM says that it is looking to tap into an addressable USD +750 Billion market with 34 million EV’s to hit roads by 2030. 

MMM’s halo product is the Azani is a quick, powerful and functional supercar meant for the new age customers abroad and in India. 

Starting at a price point of an approximate $120,000, the performance packed mean machine would deliver a power output of more than 1000 hp with a 0 – 100 km sprint in close to or under 2.0 seconds and will have a top speed of approximately 350 kmph.

Azani will offer a range of around 550 to 700 kilometres on a single charge. 

The first engineered prototype is slated to come out in the second half of 2022. 

Built purely on innovation, the Indian start-up will be the first in the country to introduce the concept of micro-facilities to manufacture its product at less than one fifth the cost of a traditional automobile manufacturing facility.
