Rules Changing From September 1
Starting on September's first, there will be a lot of big changes happening all over the place. Your wallet will be directly impacted by some of these changes. Here are the six major changes that will take effect on September 1, 2023, ranging from a decrease in LPG prices to an increase in take-home pay.
LPG Prices
By reducing the monthly cost of LPG, the government made a crucial choice that would benefit the average person. Beginning on September 1, 2023, the new prices will be in effect. The price of 14.2 kilogramme cylinders has just been reduced across the nation by Rs 200, according to recent announcements from the Central Government.
Axis Bank Credit Card
From September 1, 2023, the Magnus Credit Card from Axis Bank will experience a big change. Users of the Magnus Credit Card will now receive fewer reward points and lower discounts on certain transactions than they did previously. Owners of Axis Bank credit cards must pay Rs 12,500 in annual fees. The fees won't apply to Magnus card users who make at least Rs 25 lakh in year purchases.
IPO Listing Days
The Initial Public Offering (IPO) listing was a crucial step by the Security Exchange Board of India (Sebi). The IPO listing was lowered to September 1, 2023. The period of time required to list shares on the stock exchange has been cut in half, from six days to three days. Following the completion of the IPO, Sebi listed the company's stock on the stock exchange. Starting on September 1, this new adjustment will be optional; but, after December 1, 2023, it will be required.
Last Aadhaar Update Opportunity
The free Aadhar information updating service offered by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) will expire on September 14. By June 14, they will no longer be able to update their Aadhar Cards for free.
Rent-Free Accommodation Rules
The good news for everyone in employment is that starting on September 1st, new salary rules will be in effect. The new regulations will result in an increase in the employed person's take-home pay. Because the regulations governing rent-free housing will change as of September 1, 2023, this rule will help employees who reside in a home owned by their employer and who have a salary deduction.
