Tata Punch to launch on October 18, check upcoming SUV's price, features, booking details
Tata Motors is all set to launch its upcoming compact SUV Tata Punch in India on October 18, 2021.
Tata Punch bookings
Tata Motors has also started accepting the bookings for Punch micro-SUV. The company is taking Rs 21,000 as advance as a booking fee or token amount for Tata Punch.
Tata Punch variants
Tata Punch is expected to launch in four variants: Pure, Adventure, Accomplished, and Creative. Moreover, Tata is expected to launch the vehicles in Rhythm and Dazzle customisation options.
Tata Punch features
Tata Punch is based on the Agile Light Flexible Advanced (ALFA) Architecture, the same platform on which Tata Altroz is also built. The car will provide two driving modes- Eco and City.
The compact SUV will also get the ‘Traction-Pro Mode’ feature for the first time in the segment. Other features of the upcoming car include cruise control, Idle Start Stop mode, etc.
Tata Punch engine
Tata Punch is powered by a new-gen 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine which is said to be capable of generating a peak power of 84bhp at 6,000rpm and a maximum torque of 113Nm at 3,300rpm. Tata Punch’s engine is coupled with a five-speed manual and AMT gear options.
Tata Punch expected price
As of now, Tata hasn’t revealed the prices of the Tata Punch SUV. However, reports suggest that the upcoming four-wheeler will be launched at an ex-showroom starting price of Rs 4.99 lakhs.
At this aggressive price point, Tata Punch SUV will rival several hatchbacks and sedan models including some really popular ones such as Maruti Suzuki Swift, WagonR, and Dzire, among others.
