Actor turned philanthropist and social activist Sonu Sood, who turned a real-life hero amid deadly novel coronavirus pandemic, is in news again but this time for a different reason. Today, let’s take a look at some of the lesser-known facts about Aashiq Banaya Aapne actor!

 

The actor is known as a fitness enthusiast and is often seen sharing his workout sessions on social media. He is non-alcoholic and vegetarian and also encourages people to opt for the same.

Sonu made his debut in the film industry with a Tamil Flick ‘Kallazhagar’ in 1999 but got his first Bollywood break in 2002 with ‘Shaheed-E-Azam’.

Not only that, Sonu has not only earned his name in Bollywood and Tollywood but also made his name in the Chinese industry as he debuted in the film Xuanzang, 2016.  

Sonu also got featured alongside Indian actresses Disha Patani and Amyra Dastur in Jackie Chan’s film Kung Fu Yoga in 2017.

In July 2016, he started his own production house Shakti Sagar Productions, which is named after his father, Shakti Sagar Sood.  

Sonu Sood got married to Sonali Sood in 1996 at a young age, Sonu was just 23 at that time. The duo is proud parents of two sons - Ayaan and Ishant.

He has emerged as a real-life hero amid the deadly novel coronavirus pandemic, as he helped the people in every possible way. From helping the migrant labourers ensuring they reach their homes safely to providing coaching scholarships to students preparing for the civil services examination - Sonu Sood has done it all. In fact, many have approached the actor for help through social media and got immediate medical attention in extreme cases.
