Shweta Tiwari's 'bra remark' courts trouble: From bikini shower to domestic violence case - Her BIG controversies over the years!

Popular television actress Shweta Tiwari has courted trouble for her controversial remark made during a press conference of her show in Bhopal. She allegedly referred to God while making a statement about her innerwear. Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra directed the police to investigate her remark and submit a report within 24 hours. However, this is not the first time that Kasautii Zindagii Kay's Prerna aka Shweta Tiwari has made headlines for all the wrong reasons. A video of Shweta Tiwari making the controversial statement has gone viral on social media, in which she purportedly referred to God while speaking about her innerwear. Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra directed the police to investigate her remark and submit a report within 24 hours. "I have heard it and I strongly condemn it. I have directed the police commissioner of Bhopal to probe it and give a report within 24 hours. After that, we will see what action can be taken in the matter, "minister Mishra told reporters on Thursday as per PTI report. 

Shweta Tiwari and former husband Raja Chaudhary's divorce battle courted controversy for days. She accused Raja of domestic violence. They got divorced in 2007 after nine years of marriage. Shweta has a daughter Palak Tiwari with him.

The actress had a tough time dealing with a divorce a second time especially during her battle with former husband over her son Reyansh's custody. In 2019, the actress filed a case against Abhinav Kohli for allegedly outraging the modesty of Shweta's daughter Palak. The charges were denied by Kohli. 

They grabbed headlines, after the CCTV footage video from her residential society, in which Abhinav can be seen getting physical with Shweta. They later got into counter-arguments and made several allegations against each other. 

Shweta and Abhinav tied the knot in 2013. The couple has a son named Reyansh Kohli. Trouble brewed between the two after Shweta Tiwari accused him of domestic violence in 2019. She reportedly accused her husband of outraging the modesty of her daughter Palak by making sexually coloured remarks and showing her obscene model's photo on his mobile since October 2017.  

The actress participated in a reality show titled Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao in 2009 in which she was seen bathing in a bikini which created a huge controversy.
