Vikrant Massey's Net Worth, Fee, Car Collection: '12th Fail' Actor Announces Retirement, Set To 'Go Back Home'

Vikrant Massey shocked his fans by announcing his retirement on Monday morning (December 2, 2024). Riding high on the success of his latest film 'The Sabarmati Report', this announcement of quitting movies was unexpected and shocking. At 37, the talented actor wrote that he realised 'it's time to recalibrate and go back home." He posted about his big decision on social media.

The actor took to Instagram and wrote: "Hello, The last few years and beyond have been phenomenal. I thank each and every one of you for your indelible support. But as I move forward, I realise it's time to recalibrate and go back home. As a Husband, Father & a Son. And also as an Actor. He said that 2025 will be the last time he will be seen on the big screen. He wrote, "So coming 2025, we would meet each other for one last time. Until time deems right. Last 2 movies and many years of memories. Thank you again. For everything and everything in between Forever indebted."

He married actress Sheetal Thakur in 2022 after they began dating on the sets of 'Broken and Beautiful'. In February 2024, the actor announced that he had become a father to a boy.

According to Money Control, his net worth is estimated to be between Rs 20 to Rs 25 crore. Reportedly he charges up to Rs 1.5 crore for films. Vikrant Massey resides in a stunning sea-facing apartment on Madh Island they bought in 2020. Reportedly, the luxury apartment has a Bohemian vibe to it with earthy tones, modern furnishings, and curated art pieces.

He also has several brand deals and endorsements to boast of. 

He has a Mercedes-Benz GLS worth Rs 1.16 crore, a Volvo S90 priced at Rs 60 lakh, and a Maruti Swift Dzire worth over Rs 8 lakh. He also owns a Ducati Monster motorcycle, valued at Rs 12 lakh reportedly.

The actor completed his education at RD National College and made his acting debut with the series Dhoom Machaao Dhoom in 2007. He was then seen in shows such as 'Dharam Veer',  'Qubool Hai' and later got prominent by starring in popular TV serial 'Balika Vadhu'. It was in 2013, when he made his debut in films with 'Lootera' co-starring Ranveer Singh and Sonakshi Sinha. 

The actor was later seen in Zoya Akhtar's 'Dil Dhadakne Do', followed by 'Half Girlfriend', 'A Death In The Gunj', 'Chhapaak', 'Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitaare', 'Haseen Dilruba' and 'Love Hostle' among many others.

In 2023, he portrayed the lead role of Manoj Kumar Sharma in the biographical film '12th Fail', which emerged as a sleeper hit and turned out to be a game changer for the actor.

According to IANS, Vikrant is currently busy with 'Yaar Jigri' and 'Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan'.
