The tribe lives in Garasia, which lives in the Sirohi and Pali districts of Udaipur, Rajasthan. This tribe is also found in some parts of Gujarat.
Here women live and have live-in relationships with partners. Women can change their partners anytime and there is no pressure of marriage on them.

There is a story behind this, there were four brothers in the Garasia tribe, three of whom married and one brother lived in a live-in relationship and had a child while living in the same relationship.
