Indian Railways offers a circular journey ticket at a low cost, providing a unique travel experience. With this ticket, you can travel on up to 8 trains, with the journey starting and ending at the same station, excluding regular routes, same station, excluding regular routes. 

According to the Indian Railways official website, Regional railways also issue standard circular journey tickets that include popular destinations. Information about routes, fares, and other information for these tickets can be obtained from designated stations in each regional railway zone. 

You can purchase these tickets if any of the standard routes suits your travel plans. Otherwise, you can provide your travel details to the regional railway to create a customized circular journey ticket.

A circular journey ticket offers several benefits, including significantly lower fares compared to regular point-to-point tickets. These tickets save time and eliminate the hassle of booking separate tickets for each leg of your journey.

After deciding your travel route, contact the Divisional Commercial Manager of the division that includes your starting station, along with a few major stations. The Divisional Commercial Manager or station officials will assess the cost of the tickets based on your travel details and inform the station manager of the final details. At the station from which you plan to travel, present the form at the ticket counter to purchase the circular journey ticket. After obtaining the ticket, you can contact the reservation office to book seats or accommodations for different places of your journey.
