Republic Day 2021 parade rehearsals held across India - See pics

India will usher in its 72nd Republic Day on Tuesday (January 26, 2021). The rehearsals for the upcoming Republic Day are being held in various states.

Republic Day Parade rehearsals in Chennai. India celebrates Republid Day to commemorate the date on which the Constitution came into effect in 1950.

Republic Day Parade rehearsals were held on Sunday at Manekshaw Parade Grounds in Bengaluru. Police Commissioner Kamal Panth and BBMP Commissioner Manjunath Parasad addressed the media in preparation for Republic Day on Sunday.

Full dress rehearsal took place before Republic Day at District Police Lines at Baramulla in Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday.

Uttar Pradesh Police contingent participated during the full dress rehearsals for the Republic Day parade at Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh on Sunday.

Special Armed Police Force contingent took part in the full dress rehearsals ahead of the Republic Day, at Red Road in Kolkata on Sunday. Kolkata Police band and Kolkata Traffic Police contingent also dsiplayed their skills at the rehearsals.

Artists performed during the full dress rehearsal for the Republic Day parade at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium in Srinagar on Sunday. BSF personnel also exhibited their valour during the Parade rehearsals.
