Airbus A380: World's Largest Passenger Plane, As Big As 70 Car Parking Spaces; Check Details

The Airbus A380 is the largest passenger aircraft in the world, featuring a full-length double deck and seating options on both levels. 


1. A total of 254 airframes were built before production ended.The A380 has a service ceiling of 13,000 feet, a maximum payload of 84 tonnes, a cruising speed of 903 km/h, and a range of 14,800 km. 


2.The Airbus A380  is powered by four Trent 972-84/972B-84 engines, with some airframes using the Engine Alliance GP7270.



3. The Airbus A380 measures 72.72 meters in length, 7.14 meters in height, and has a wingspan of 79.75 meters. Its wing area is 845 square meters.



4. All Nippon Airways operates A380 flights from Japan to Hawaii and other routes. A special paint scheme was used on an A380 airframe for the Dubai Expo.



5. First flown in 2005, the Airbus A380's size is comparable to a parking area for 70 cars. Although Airbus announced a cargo version, the A380-F, its production never commenced.
