IPL 2020 Match 36: KXIP beat MI in second Super Over
October 18, 2020 brought along a lot of new milestones for cricket in general with two matches going into the Super Over in the same day for the first time in IPL history. If that wasn’t enough, fans witnessed even more drama with a first-ever second Super Over taking place in the match between Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab.
KXIP first levelled MI's total of 176 and then in the ensuing super over, both sides matched each other again (Both managing just 5 runs). Then as per the IPL rulebooks, the match went into a historic second Super Over - The players who had already batted or bowled in the first Super Over were not allowed in the second one.

IPL 2020 Match 36: Kings XI Punjab level Mumbai Indians' total
On October 18, Right after the nail-biter between SRH and KKR, arguably the biggest thriller in IPL history took place.
After KXIP had tied Mumbai Indians total of 176, the game went into the Super Over. KXIP batting first, were restricted to just 5/2 by Jasprit Bumrah. Mohammad Shami then matched his compatriot Bumrah’s excellence by limiting Mumbai to 5/1 - thus tying the first Super Over.

IPL 2020 Match 35: KKR beat SRH in Super Over
In the 35th game of IPL 2020, Lockie Ferguson powered Kolkata Knight Riders to a thrilling Super Over win over SunRisers Hyderabad at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on October 18.
Ferguson picked-up 3/15 from his regular four overs while in the Super Over, he finished the SRH innings on just 2 runs after dismissing David Warner and Abdul Samad. Chasing just three runs to win, KKR’s experienced duo of skipper Eoin Morgan and Dinesh Karthik ensured the victory for their side.

IPL 2020 Match 10: RCB beat MI in Super Over
In the 10th game of IPL 2020, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated Mumbai Indians in a Super Over thriller on September 28 at the Dubai International Stadium.
Mumbai Indians who looked down and out at one stage tied RCB's total of 200 thanks to a phenomenal counter-attack from Ishan Kishan (99 off 58 balls) and Keiron Pollard (60 from 24 balls).
In the Super Over, Navdeep Saini was the hero for RCB, as he contained Mumbai to a paltry 7/1. Bumrah, in reply, brought his side close but with RCB needing 6 from 3 balls, Ab de Villiers top-edged one for four and Kohli hit the last ball for four to complete a memorable victory for his side. IPL 2020 Match 2 : Delhi Capitals beat Kings XI Punjab in Super Over
In just the second match of IPL 2020, Delhi Capitals defeated Kings XI Punjab in a super over thriller on September 20 at the Dubai International Stadium.
Kings XI were left to rue their chance as at one stage they needed just 1 run to win off the finals 3 balls in the final over but failed to capitalize and with the scores tied at 157 at the end of the allotted 20 overs, the match proceeded into the super over.
South African pacer Kagiso Rabada was the hero for the Capitals in the Super over as he dismissed KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal on consecutive deliveries to end Kings XI’s super over in just 3 balls with just two runs on the board. (Image Credits: Twitter/@IPL)
