In Pics: Kieron Pollard becomes 2nd man to hit six sixes in an over in T20 internationals
West Indies captain Kieron Pollard achieved a rare record on Thursday (March 4, India time) when he smashed Sri Lanka off-spinner Akila Dananjaya for six consecutive sixes in an over. Pollard became only the second man after India's Yuvraj Singh to achieve this record in T20 internationals. Thanks to Pollard's swashbuckling 11-ball 38 and useful knocks by Evin Lewis and Jason Holder, West Indies cruised to the 131-run target in just over 13 overs in spite of a hat-trick by Dananjaya. Chris Gayle falls for a duck
West Indies batsman Chris Gayle was dismissed for a first-ball duck in his comeback game against Sri Lanka. Gayle was the second batsman dismissed in Akila Dananjaya's hat-trick.
