Jasprit Bumrah, Rohit, Virat will skip playing one-day cricket for now as they will put their entire focus on T20s and Tests. As per reports, Rohit is set to return to T20s but we don't know whether Virat is interested. Bumrah continues to be an all-format bowler.

With Hardik Pandya and Rohit Sharma missing in white-ball squads, the Ajt Agarkar-led panel has entrusted Surya and KL to do the  job. Surya and KL Rahul have shown good captaincy skills in whatever little time they have had as captains.

They both faced World Cup snub but are back in reckoning for the ODIs. Chahal had tweeted "Here we go again" after being picked for the One-dayers. Samson is a quiet man but he will let his bat do the talking. He still has enough time to play the next World Cup.

They continue to be a part of the setup which is a good sign looking at the future and the T20 WC which is not very far away. Selectors want to test out these youngsters as much as possible before the WC. It is also good to see the likes of Rajat Patidar, Sai Sudharsan, Rinku, Arshdeep get a go in the ODIs as well.

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have taken a break from T20s and ODIs for now. They will be back to play Tests vs South Africa. ODIs have suddenly lost relevance with the end of the World Cup as teams will now focus on the next ICC tournament which is the T20 WC and the World Tets Championship. Rohit and Virat are interested in extending their Test careers.
