Rishabh Pant
Rishabh Pant is at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. He has stopped walking without any support for about a month now. He is still in his recovery period. As per Shyam Sharma, the Director of Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA), Pant is likely to return to international cricket, not before World Cup. KL Rahul
KL Rahul had returned to NCA Bengaluru after his surgery in London in May. He had injured his thigh while playing an IPL 2023 match. Rahul continues to be on recovery path at the Bengaluru academy. He has been doing light gym sessions. Has not resumed batting as yet. Rahul is likely to return to India squad before Asia Cup. (Image: ANI)
Shreyas Iyer
Shreyas Iyer has recovered fully and has also resumed batting in the nets at NCA. There is no update on his return date yet. But if all goes well for a month in nets, Iyer should feature in India’s Asia Cup squad, or even before that in the Ireland series. (Image: Instagram)
Prasidh Krishna
Like Bumrah, Prasidh Krishna has also resumed bowling in the nets. Prasidh had undergone a surgery for stress fracture and missed out on various international assignments and IPL 2023. He is a World Cup hopeful but before that he will be required to prove his match fitness. Unlike Bumrah, Krishna is not likely to play the Ireland series but he is hopeful for a return in Asia Cup. Jasprit Bumrah
Bumrah is reportedly set to return for in the Ireland T20Is that are scheduled to take place right from the Asia Cup 2023 in August. India play 3 T20Is vs Ireland starting August 18. Bumrah is making fast progress at National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru and is bowling 8 to 10 overs per day, if a report in Indian Express, is to be believed. (Image: ANI)
