Shahid Afridi vs Danish Kaneria: Five BIG controversies involving former Pakistan captain (IN PICS)

In LPL 2021, Shahid Afridi had altercation with Afghanistan pacer Naveen-ul-Haq. In the match between Kandy Tuskers and Galle Gladiators, Naveen had a go at Mohammad Amir. Senior players pulled him out of the heated exchange then but later Afridi, during the handshakes, got angry at Naveen. 

Shahid Afridi always creates controveries when he makes a remark on Kashmir. He has even made comments on Indian PM Narendra Modi. He once said, "the world is infected by a deadly disease, but what's more dangerous is in Modi's heart and mind."   " In 2020, he also visited LoC to show 'solidarity with the Kashmiris'. This was after the Indian government's decision to abrogate Article 370 of the Indian constitution. 

Not to forget, the world still does not know the real age of Shahid Afridi. He in his book revealed that he was born in 1975 and not in 1980 as per official records. That means Afridi was not 16 when he made his debut and smashed 37-ball 100. 

During an ODI game between India and Pakistan, Afridi took potshots at Gautam Gambhir. The Indian opener gave it back to him through choicest of words. Cricketers usually move on but since this incident, Afridi and GG have continued to take sly at each other. 

Shahid Afridi was once banned for 2 T20Is after he was spotted tampering the ball during a T20 game between Pakistan and Australia.
